Watchers of Liverpool’s Premier League victory over Fulham on Sunday were treated to four incredible goals as the Reds won 4-3 in drаmаtic fashion.

Even though Liverpool scored two goals in the final seconds to complete the comeback, the quality of all four of their goals was what really stood out.

Trent Alexander-Arnold gave Fulham the lead in the 20th minute with a brilliant free-kιck, but the goal was ultimately ruled an own goal by Bernd Leno after the defender’s shot bounced off the goalkeeper’s back and over the line.

Harry Wilson immediately gave the visitors an equalizer, and in the 38th minute, Alexis Mac Allister brilliantly restored Liverpool’s lead from a distance. The World Cup winner struck the upper-right corner of the net by cutting across a half-volley.

Although dominating the game for long stretches, Liverpool fell behind in the last minutes as goals from Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Kenny Tete pushed Fulham within one goal of a historic victory.

But Liverpool, unwilling to give up on its 13-month Premier League winning streak at home, equalized through Wataru Endo in the 87th minute.

The Japanese player skillfully side-footed the ball into the upper corner after sprinting onto Mohamed Salah’s assist.

Alexander-Arnold, who was in fine form, gave Liverpool the victory a few seconds later. In the 88th minute, the England international controlled the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a magnificent effort into the near corner, setting off wild celebrations within the stadium.

Following the game, Klopp told reporters, “I don’t think anybody would have thought before the game [that] Liverpool vs Fulham will be a game you will never forget in your life.”

You’re welcome, though. Anyone present today will always remember it for the rest of their lives.

The victory highlighted Liverpool’s title credentials and moved them up to second place in the league, one point ahead of Manchester City in third and two behind Arsenal in first.

After the game, Klopp reserved special appreciation for Alexander-Arnold. The full-back, who won Sunday’s Man of the Match award, has been questioned about his defending, but his technical skill has silenced his detractors.

“I think Trent is great, and everyone knows it,” Klopp told reporters following the match.

“He was a true leader on the field today; if you want to call it the biggest improvement.”

The players for Liverpool won’t have much time to rest before their Premier League match against Sheffield United on Wednesday. Saturday’s matchup is with Crystal Palace in the league.
