Saiyan Slay: Nordstrom unveils new Jeffrey Campbell boots that look straight out of Vegeta’s closet, perfect for Dragon Ball fans.
Nordstrom’s latest Jeffrey Campbell stiletto boots are turning heads for an unexpected reason — they bear a striking resemblance to Dragon Ball‘s renowned character Vegeta.
Trendy motorcycle boot meets ’90s space travel aesthetic meets Vegeta’s Saiyan battle armor in Jeffrey Campbell’s Motorsport Stiletto Boots, which are currently available at Nordstrom and the Jeffrey Campbell online store. The Motorsport Stiletto Boots feature vibrant blue, yellow and white tones in Vegeta’s signature color scheme, alongside quilted panels, a metallic stiletto heel and a sharp pointed toe. While the boots are not explicitly stated to be Vegeta or Dragon Ball themed, the quilted leather and iconic color palette have an undeniable similarity to Vegeta’s Saiyan battle armor and “cold-blooded-killer” personality. The shoes retail for US$269.95 and span women’s U.S. sizes 5-11. They also come in pink and red and are already selling out, so luxe Dragon Ball fans and Vegeta cosplayers will have to move quickly to secure a pair.

Designer shoe brand Jeffrey Campbell is widely recognized for its trendy yet distinctive designs, particularly its heels and boots, which are known for incorporating unique styles, materials and details into their designs. They are typically statement shoes rather than staple pieces, and the brand “strives to reflect the beauty in all body types, ages, ethnicities, and genders,” catering to a variety of aesthetics while remaining in style.
The Jeffrey Campbell shoe brand was co-founded by Jeffrey Campbell and his wife in Los Angeles. Both co-founders are fairly elusive, running a very small production company despite the brand’s popularity and giving very few interviews, with the inspiration behind their shoe designs remaining carefully under wraps. If the Campbells are Dragon Ball fans, they aren’t very public about it. However, given the Motorsport Stiletto Boots’ uncanny resemblance to Vegeta’s classic fit, fans certainly have plenty of room to speculate.

Vegeta is a central character in the Dragon Ball franchise, originally a manga created by Akira Toriyama in 1984 and later adapted into a globally popular anime. He initially emerges as a powerful antagonist — a Saiyan Prince and Goku’s fierce rival. However, over time, he undergoes significant character development, transitioning from a ruthless warrior to a protective ally, grappling with his Saiyan heritage and developing a deep sense of responsibility and empathy toward his family and Earth’s defense. He has become a fan favorite over time and is hailed by some as a fashion icon, sporting a variety of looks, although his classic blue and yellow one is his most iconic.
Dragon Ball is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Prime Video.
