Numarine unveils the interior design of its upcoming 30XP model, slated for launch in spring 2024, marking a milestone in the shipyard’s 20th-anniversary celebration. The 30XP has already garnered significant attention, with five units pre-sold. This model stands out as the first Numarine yacht to offer diesel-electric propulsion.
Renowned designer Can Yalman is responsible for both the exterior and interior of the 30XP, featuring a raised pilothouse design chosen for its efficient use of volume. In collaboration with Istanbul-based Ofist Design Studio, a version of the interior has been created. The concept behind the 30XP’s interiors revolves around a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic, prioritizing simplicity, minimalism, and functionality to evoke a sense of home at sea.
The yacht’s flexible layout can be adapted to meet the preferences of individual owners, emphasizing open-air dining on the aft deck and the covered sundeck. Numarine Founder Ömer Malaz highlights the design’s focus on creating a strong connection with the outdoors, emphasizing natural light and the enjoyment of the surrounding scenery.
The 30XP boasts standout features, including a private balcony accessed from the master suite, a master cabin office space with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a semi-open beach club with generous headroom. Three fold-down platforms increase the beach club’s deck space to 43 sqm, and a side-loading tender bay can accommodate a 6.25-meter tender.
Accommodating up to 10 guests in five ensuite staterooms and up to five crew members, the 30XP offers a luxurious and versatile experience. The yacht’s power options include a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system or twin 560-hp MAN engines, providing a maximum speed of 13 knots and an estimated range of 3000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Numarine’s delivery rate of a dozen yachts per year sees the addition of the 30XP to its lineup of seven models, including the proposed 45XP flagship. With plans for increased production, the Istanbul-based shipyard is set to open a new waterside facility in the coming years.
