The Internet Reacts To Drake Being On Everyone’s Spotify Wrapped Top 5 List

The annual Spotify’s Wrapped lists are out, and so to is the yearly conversation about how Drake seems to be on everyone’s lists.

In 2023, Drake was crowned number 4 as the Most Streamed Artists Globally, behind Taylor Swift (#1), Bad Bunny (#2), and The Weeknd (#3). He was second in Canada, behind only Swift.

With Drake hitting over 11.5 billion streams, some fans took to Twitter/X to show their appreciation to the 6 God, while some were in disbelief that wound up on so many lists.

One Twitter user compared Drake’s Spotify listening numbers to an old meme of Drake at a Raps game.

Someone else used the infamous gif from Usher’s Tiny Desk Concert, where he stares into the camera saying “watch this,” tweeting “Drake getting ready to show up on all our top 5’s.”

Another user tweeted how “Drake was my top artist on my spotify Wrapped,” with the scene from Toy Story where Buzz Lightyear is on a shelf with a billion other Buzzes.

Meanwhile not everyone was sold on Drake being in their top 5 list. One Twitter user said that Drake “bro lowkey falling off.”

Drake gave fans lots of new music to listen to on streaming services this year. There was standalone single “Search & Rescue,” the On the Radar Freestyle with Central Cee, new album For All the Dogs, and finally the extended For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition.
