Tom Cruise is normally in the thick of the action on the silver screen, but he seems to never be far away from it in his real life either.

The Top Gun actor, 61, was spotted landing his helicopter in London this weekend as he made a trip to Battersea.

With a beaming smile on his face, the Mission: Impossible icon expertly landed his chopper and was captured laughing and joking with the crew beside him.

Wearing a black puffer coat and woolly scarf, the movie icon wrapped up for his trip to the chilly capital.

Interestingly, Tom also sported a nose clip, which is a device normally used to combat snoring.

Exiting his helicopter, the star was in high spirits, flashing a grin and waving to cameras on the tarmac before snapping a few pics himself on his mobile phone.
