ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Maddox awkwardly swerved questions about his feud with his dad as he gave his first ever interview in South Korea.

The briefly mentioned his fraught relationship with his actor father outside of his college, Yonsei University in Incheon.

Brad and Maddox have been estranged since 2016 following an incident between them onboard a private plane in September of the same year.

Following the altercation, Brad and Angelina filed for divorce after just two years of marriage.

According to footage obtained by In Touch Weekly, the biochemistry student was asked if Brad would be visiting him at university, to which he said: “I don’t know about that [or] what’s happening.”

He was then asked whether his relationship with Brad is “over”, to which Maddox stated: “Well, whatever happens, happens.”

Maddox travelled to South Korea with his mother Angelina in late August to begin his studies.

At the time, the movie star, who adopted him in 2002, was captured telling a group of students that, “[Yonsei] seems like a great school” as she escorted him to his dorm.

Emotional as she left her eldest to start his schooling, Angelina told the group she was “trying not to cry”.

Brad and Angelina shocked the world when they announced their plans to divorce in September 2016.

The couple filed for divorce in September 2016 following an incident on a plane when Brad allegedly clashed with Maddox.

The Hollywood couple then released a joint statement where they stated they’d agreed to settle their divorce in private.

They married in 2014 after 12 years together and share children Maddox, Pax and Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.

Pitt was previously married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005.

Recently, Brad admitted that he spent a year and a half in Alcoholics Anonymous after Angelina filed for divorce.

Speaking to the New York Times, the superstar actor explained: “I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges.

“You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard.

“It was this safe space where there was little judgement, and therefore little judgement of yourself.”
