As we approach the final hours of the January transfer window, it is shaping up to be a very quiet one as far as Chelsea are concerned.
This is something that has certainly not become the norm since Todd Boehly became the owner of the club. The American has bankrolled the Blues to two club-record deals already.
A year ago they were completing a deal for Enzo Fernandez, however they may be going without anyone this time around.

In an ideal world, the Blues would have addressed the glaring issue in the striker position this month to give them a great chance to push for a European football finish this season.
When looking around the European leagues, there aren’t many who have scored more goals so far in this campaign than Viktor Gyokeres.
The Sweden international has notched up 21 strikes in all competitions already, and has been reportedly linked to a number of elite sides.
Gyokeres is ideal Chelsea target
One of those has been Chelsea, with them loitering in the background for a potential move that would see them activate his release clause.
While it now looks heavily unlikely to be completed today, it is surely the signing the club need the most right now, with them frequently needing someone to find the net on a more regular basis.
The biggest deal involving them today could revolve around fellow striker Armando Broja, who is being linked with a move to either Fulham or Wolves.
