Real Madrid have roadmap laid out for Mbappe’s signing, deal should not take much longer

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. The words the football world has seen headline all major media outlets are back once more, this time with renewed energy.

It is not the first time that Los Blancos have pushed for the Frenchman’s signing. Mbappe has come close to making the big-money move on several occasions now but has regularly backed out at the nth minute for a multitude.

Yet, there is something about the upcoming summer that appears different. Real Madrid’s firm stance that it is his final chance, coupled with the fact that he is in the final year of his contract make it the perfect time for the deal to reach its culmination.

News expected soon

In his recent update, journalist Mario Cortegana (via Ruben Martin’s YouTube channel) has only reinforced the news that has been going around this week.

The Athletic journalist forwards that something is expected to happen soon around the French forward.

He further adds that sources close to the club confirmed to him last Tuesday that they have the required roadmap to Mbappe’s signing. It is only a matter of time and is not expected to take long.

PSG refuse to give up

Despite most outlets conveying that Mbappe has decided to leave PSG, reports earlier today relayed that PSG are still hopeful.

The Parisiens have not given up and are willing to offer their talisman a lucrative contract to change his mind until the 25-year-old informs president Nasser Al-Khelaifi of his decision.

After all, signing for Real Madrid will require a massive economic compromise on the player’s part.

The Merengues are reportedly offering Mbappe a base salary of just €15 million. Needless to say, a lot will ride on whether the player opts for money or the club of his dreams.
