Fans claim Tyson Fury is ‘chiselled out of STONE’ as the Gypsy King showcases his remarkable body transformation on the day his undisputed showdown with Oleksandr Usyk was originally scheduled to take place

Tyson Fury took to social media to issue Oleksandr Usyk a reminder of the incredible shape he was in heading into their undisputed clash.

The long-awaited showdown to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis more than two decades ago was originally set to take place on February 17.

The fight was ultimately postponed last month after the Gypsy King sustained a serious cut over his right eye in sparring that required multiple stitches.

However the 12-round championship bout has since been rearranged and will now take place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

On the day he was originally scheduled to take on the Ukrainian inside the ring, Fury shared a clip of himself preparing for the clash looking lean while performing movement drills and medicine ball slams.

Commenting on the post, Fury’s fans praised the Gypsy King’s body transformation and insisted that Usyk is in for a long night when the pair finally meet inside the ring in May.

One praised Fury’s trainer who originally posted the clip: ‘Great work Kristian, chiselled out of stone’

Another wrote: ‘Best shape he’s been in. Can’t wait for him to flatten Usyk’

A further fan added: ‘This would be the biggest win in boxing history, given the reputations.

‘When the time’s right leading up to fight date let’s go all out with strength training and movement work love this ^ dynamic , everyone saying he looks great/ (props), push his genetic potential further than ever once camp resumes, more than before even.’

Another remarked: ‘Boxing master class to prove all you haters he’s better than Uysk and there’s levels to this game.’

The Gypsy King’s bout with Oleksandr Usyk will now take place on May 18 after it was postponed

Fury and his team took to social media after the postponement was announced to say they were devastated given the work they had put in behind the scenes

Fury previously shared a photo of himself looking svelte after announcing that his cut had forced the fight to be postponed.

‘Cant help getting injured in sparring,’ he wrote. ‘But what I can say was Usyk was in trouble. I am in fantastic shape. I will reschedule soon as I can. 2024 a massive year for team GK.’

Fury weighed a career-highest 277.75lbs when he faced Francis Ngannou in October, narrowly overcoming the debuting former UFC heavyweight champion by split decision in Riyadh.
