Man United’s Andre Onana shone in the 2-1 loss to Fulham, boasting an 89% passing accuracy and 6 successful long passes.

The custodian for Manchester United, Andre Onana, played very well in their poor 2-1 Premier League loss to Fulham.

Before the game, the Red Devils had won five straight games in all competitions, and many people thought they could win again at Old Trafford.

But the Cottagers were in charge from the start and could have been ahead by one or two goals before halftime.

Alex Iwobi scored, but his shot went wide of the goal. Onana also did his part by making two great stops that kept Rodrigo Muniz and Andreas Pereira from scoring.

It was also great of the Cameroonian to tip over Timothy Castagne’s cross-shot, but the guests scored from the corner that followed.

In the 89th minute, Harry Maguire scored off a rebound to get United back into the game. However, Fulham won in the end with a goal on the counterattack.

Iwobi had a lot of room to shoot, and he scored while Onana stayed put.

We thought Onana did well as an individual, even though they lost. He did a great job stopping both goals that United gave up.

Calvin Bassey’s powerful blow was too far away for Onana to catch before he could respond. So, the custodian shouldn’t be blamed for the loss.

Besides the three saves he made, he finished 89% of his passes, including six long balls that went in.

The star player, who is worth €40 million, should feel cheated because his defenders failed to stop the counterattacks from the visitor team.

It could have been a bigger loss for Fulham if they had been more clinical in front of goal.

United has now lost a lot of ground and are now eight points behind Aston Villa in fourth place.

They had to put in a lot of work to win four straight league games. Because of Fulham’s recent form, the loss was a bit of a surprise.

United will have to deal with another tough test next weekend when Manchester City comes to town.

Villa must beat Luton Town at Kenilworth Road in order for the club to have any chance of making the Champions League. If they don’t, them chances are over.

Before that, they have an important fifth round FA Cup match at Nottingham Forest. United’s last chance to win a prize this season is in this tournament.
