It seems Max Verstappen’s glamorous girlfriend isn’t stressing too much about his season-opening race in Bahrain after wowing F1 fans in her latest sizzling outfit.

Kelly Piquet, daughter of former three-time world champion Nelson, had pulses racing last month when she donned a 𝑠e𝑥y cream lace-up bikini for a Mirror Magazine shoot. And the Vogue Netherlands cover model has been at it again in Bahrain while her spouse has been preparing for the Grand Prix.

The 34-year-old, who boasts a following of 1.1 million on Instagram, took to the beaches in Bahrain and made the most of the searing heat. And her choice of clothing left little to the imagination for fans either.

The Brazilian babe wore a pink bikini, made by PrettyLittleThing, whilst posing for photos. Her toned body was on show as she lay down on a towel, and also posed with trendy sunglasses and a pink netted beach cover-up.

Piquet is a regular on the F1 circuit, and was by Verstappen’s side throughout his maiden title winning season in 2021. Her support was also unwavering last year, when the Dutchman romped to a second title after winning 15 of the 22 F1 races.

But it’s not the first relationship she’s had with a Red Bull star. Piquet has a child, Penelope, from a previous relationship with Russian driver, Daniil Kvyat, with whom she split in 2019 – before getting with Verstappen a year later.

And it’s unlikely that the reigning champ, 25, was quite as relaxed as he took part in the first two practice sessions in Bahrain on Friday. He was third quickest in P1 behind teammate Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso.

He was up to second by the end of P2, again behind Spanish icon Alonso. And he ultimately had a much better day than old rival Lewis Hamilton, who struggled to 10th and 8th as he failed to get to grips with his new Mercedes.

Verstappen will be hot favourite though when qualifying gets underway on Saturday. And he’ll also want to make amends for the debacle at the same venue a year ago, when he was forced to retire with engine problems when in contention for the chequered flags.
