Over the past few transfer windows, Chelsea have made a lot of signings.
Last summer, for example, Chelsea brought the likes of Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson to Stamford Bridge.
Despite all of these arrivals, the Blues have still struggled this season, finding themselves 11th in the Premier League at present.
You could forgive, then, any of their new signings for regretting their move to west London.
That, however, has not been the case for Malo Gusto, who recently beat one of Marcos Alonso’s records at Chelsea.

Malo Gusto ‘really happy’ he joined Chelsea
Chelsea signed Gusto from Lyon for £30.7m in January 2023, with the right-back not linking up with the Blues until last summer.
Mauricio Pochettino‘s side have not done well in Gusto’s debut season at Stamford Bridge, but the 20-year-old has told Eurosport that he is still happy with his decision to move to west London.
When asked how things are going at Chelsea, he said: “Really well. There are a lot of French people, but even the club is great and has done everything so that I can really get on with things. Honestly, I’m really happy with my choice.
“We’re a young team. We know it’s taken a bit of time to gel. Now we’re working daily to create a united group. We know it’s been a bit better over the past few games, so we’re trying to keep that going.”
Chelsea may be without Gusto for their 2024 pre-season, as the former Lyon man could be called up by France to participate at this year’s Olympics.
Is Malo Gusto fit enough to start against Burnley on Saturday?
Chelsea take on Burnley at home on Saturday when the Premier League returns.
Gusto had to pull out of the France U21 squad last week because of a virus, but it is not something to worry about.
It has been reported that Gusto is expected to be fit enough to play against Vincent Kompany’s side this weekend.
With Reece James still out injured, Gusto should be in line to start, which is good news for Pochettino. The France international has become such a dangerous outlet for Chelsea this season, registering five assists in 20 Premier League appearances.
