Con Marvel Studios confirmando el reparto oficial junto con nuevas ilustraciones el día de San Valentín, varias pistas y referencias sugieren que la historia de los Cuatro Fantásticos se ambientará inicialmente en los años 60. Sin embargo, ya existe una forma perfecta para que la familia con superpoderes interactúe con los héroes del MCU en el presente.
El reparto de Los Cuatro Fantásticos incluye a Pedro Pascal como Mister Fantástico (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby como la Mujer Invisible (Sue Storm), Joeseph Quinn como la Antorcha Humana (Johnny Storm) y Ebon Moss-Bachrach como Ben Grimm, también conocido como La Cosa. El anuncio del reparto de Marvel también incluyó ilustraciones con los actores en sus respectivos papeles y también adelantó el escenario inicial de la película.
