The remarks quickly sparked reactions online, though sources close to Kris Jenner told TMZ the claims are completely false and have no basis in reality. According to those sources, Jenner has “zero interest” in engaging with Ray J beyond the ongoing legal proceedings.
The comments come amid a messy court battle involving the former couple and the infamous sex tape that first linked Ray J and Kim Kardashian in the public eye years ago.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner previously sued Ray J for defamation after he allegedly claimed they were under investigation for racketeering. In response, Ray J filed a countersuit, arguing that the Kardashian family violated a prior settlement agreement related to the sex tape by repeatedly discussing it on Hulu’s The Kardashians.
Last month, a judge ruled that Ray J’s countersuit will proceed to arbitration, while the defamation lawsuit filed by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner remains active in court.
The legal conflict has continued to generate headlines as both sides accuse each other of damaging reputations and violating previous agreements. However, there is currently no evidence supporting Ray J’s latest claims regarding Kris Jenner allegedly wanting to harm him.
