Just now, Lionel Messi has achieved that very goal. After leading Argentina to victory at the 2021 Copa America, the soccer great has flown to sunny South Florida for some well-deserved R&R.
The price tag on their brand-new weekend house? To put it simply, $200,000 monthly. That must be the cost of a holiday home with a total of five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and an area of 8,202 square feet. “extraordinary waterfront estate with unobstructed, breathtaking views of the bay from every room”; “cul-de-sac on the very exclusive Mashta Island.”
There are three stories in the home. Messi can park his supercars in the basement three-car garage and then ride the elevator to the rest of the house. The main bathroom has a freestanding tub and a large glass shower, and both are flooded with natural light from the apartment’s floor-to-ceiling windows, which overlook the ocean forever.
