When Mahomes headed off to play football at Texas Tech University, Brittany went to the University of Texas in Tyler, where she played soccer.

Despite the challenges brought by the distance between them, their relationship survived.

What’s her business?

After leaving college a graduate in Kinesiology, Brittany started her own business.

She works as a personal trainer under the company name Brittany Lynne Fitness.

With her passion purely in the health and fitness sector, she now helps clients reach their training goals.

Her Instagram account under the same name now boasts over 42,000 followers, and links to her own website.

Which sport does she play?

Soccer, or football in Britain, is still her main sport.

On graduating from college, she signed a professional contract with Icelandic team UMF Afturelding/Fram.

Speaking to the Tyler Morning Telegraph about her soccer career, she said: “I didn’t even see myself playing college soccer when I graduated high school.

“However, I ended up coming to UT Tyler to play soccer because it was close to home and I knew a few girls that played here that loved it and told me I need to join the family.

“So I did, and these last four years have made me fall in love with soccer all over again and want to go on and play professional soccer.”
