A Philadelphia family is once again facing tragedy after a man was fatally shot during a pool tournament at a local bar—nearly four years after his brother was also killed in a separate shooting.

According to police information reported by PEOPLE and 6abc, Kenneth Singleton, 38, was shot on May 4 while attending a pool tournament inside a bar in Philadelphia. Authorities say shell casings were found near the pool table where the incident occurred. No arrests have been made so far, and the motive remains under investigation. Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Singleton’s death has deeply affected his family, particularly his mother, Lisa Dixon, who is now grieving the loss of two sons killed in separate incidents.

Her other son, Brandon Dixon, was fatally shot on May 9, 2022, in a separate incident at a gas station. Local reports cited surveillance footage showing Brandon being chased before being shot. An arrest has been made in connection with that case, but the investigation is still ongoing.

Both brothers were described by family and community members as loving fathers. Kenneth, known as “Scooter,” leaves behind a young daughter. Brandon also had a child and was previously recognized for his background in basketball and youth coaching.

Speaking after Kenneth’s death, Lisa Dixon expressed her grief and emotional struggle.

“I don’t want nobody else to go through the pain that I’m going through because it hurts real bad,” she said. “They say I’m strong, but when am I allowed to be weak?”

Authorities continue to investigate Kenneth Singleton’s killing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia police.
