WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg and his son Gage Goldberg may soon star in a new reality show on the Discovery Channel, focusing on their shared passion for the outdoors.
During an interview at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in Memphis, Goldberg revealed that he and Gage are “up for the possibility” of the show, though specific details have not yet been disclosed. The WWE legend emphasized the importance of range — both as a performer and as a person — and how showcasing his outdoorsman side attracted Discovery Channel’s interest.
“The reality is, as a human being and as a performer, you’re of no value unless you have range. I like to say that I can pick up the giant, slam him and growl, and then get out of the ring and grab a baby and take a selfie,” Goldberg said.
“Like Patriot Tactical, I’m trying to raise awareness for a company that, years ago, people may not have thought I would be attached to. But I’m an outdoorsman. And right now, Gage and I are up for the possibility of doing an outdoor show on Discovery Channel.”
Goldberg’s involvement with Patriot Tactical, a company selling knives, clothing, and protective equipment, has highlighted his outdoorsman interests outside the wrestling ring. Goldberg was announced as partner and CEO of Patriot Tactical in February, marking a new chapter following his retirement from wrestling after a loss to Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in July 2025.
Meanwhile, Gage Goldberg continues to make a name for himself in football. The University of Colorado linebacker, playing under coach Deion Sanders, joined the team as a walk-on in 2024. In a December 2024 interview, Gage mentioned that Paul “Triple H” Levesque told him the door remains open should he ever pursue a career in WWE.
The potential Discovery Channel show would combine father-son dynamics, outdoor adventures, and life lessons, giving fans a look at Goldberg beyond his wrestling career while highlighting Gage’s journey as a young athlete and future star.
