Former WWE superstar Rusev has officially taken the next step in his wrestling journey by launching a brand-new wrestling academy alongside veteran performer Gangrel.
The new training facility, called KECH Pro Wrestling, has officially opened its doors in Nashville, Tennessee, offering training programs for both adults and children interested in pursuing professional wrestling.
“The mats are down. The ring is up. The doors are open. Thank you to everyone who showed up, trained, watched, asked questions, and believed in what we’re building. This is only the beginning. KECH Pro Wrestling Academy is officially underway. Train like a pro. Trained by a pro.”
The project has been in development for months, with Rusev previously discussing his plans during an interview appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet.
During the conversation, Rusev praised Gangrel’s experience and traditional approach to wrestling training, explaining why he wanted the WWE veteran involved in the academy from the very beginning.
According to Rusev, Gangrel’s coaching style focuses heavily on fundamentals and old-school wrestling psychology — something he believes many modern wrestlers are missing today.
Rusev also revealed that Gangrel had played a major role in helping train several talents over the years, including Bulgarian wrestler Metal, making the partnership a natural fit for the new school.
The launch of KECH Pro Wrestling comes as more current and former wrestling stars continue expanding into training and talent development outside the ring. Fans have already reacted positively online, with many praising the idea of learning directly from two well-known names in the wrestling industry.
With the academy now officially operating in Nashville, KECH Pro Wrestling could become a notable destination for future wrestling talent looking for professional-level training.
