The state of Florida has carried out the execution of David Joseph Pittman, the death row inmate convicted of brutally murdering three members of his estranged wife’s family in a revenge-fueled attack that shocked the state for decades. According to court records, the murders took place in 1990 during an increasingly hostile divorce dispute between Pittman and his wife.
