Ohio authorities arrested battle rapper Geechi Gotti after discovering nearly 3,000 stolen opioid pills in his possession following a dramatic traffic stop on Interstate 75. The Compton native, known for his success in the battle rap scene, was traveling with three other men when the incident occurred on February 5, 2026.
According to law enforcement reports, the four suspects attempted to flee from the vehicle after the stop, but officers quickly apprehended them. Bodycam footage captures the tense scene, with officers instructing the men to āGet down on the ground right now!ā as they secured the suspects. Detective Kevin Burger of the West Chester Police Department confirmed that the vehicle contained a large quantity of pharmaceuticals including oxycodone, morphine, and Vicodin, reportedly stolen from multiple pharmacies across Ohio.
āThe drugs that were found appeared to come straight from a pharmacy,ā Burger explained during the suspectsā preliminary hearing. Investigators traced part of the stash to The Medicine Shoppe in Bellevue, Ohio, and discovered additional stolen cash taken from a pharmacy in Perrysburg. All four individuals, including Geechi Gotti, now face multiple drug possession charges, and the case has been sent to a grand jury for further proceedings.
Geechi Gotti, 30, has been a prominent figure in the battle rap circuit for years, with over 70 documented battles and more than 43 million views across his performances. He has faced off against legends like Loaded Lux and Tsu Surf and has been recognized multiple times as Champion of the Year.
