vStephen Curry has officially landed a new home for his signature sneaker brand. The Golden State Warriors superstar signed a 10-year endorsement deal with Chinese company Li-Ning on Monday, reportedly worth over $400 million, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The partnership will include basketball footwear, athleisure, a full golf line, and the opportunity for Curry to sign other athletes under his brand in the future.
Curry confirmed the partnership on Instagram but did not disclose financial details himself. The deal comes nearly a year after Curry’s split with Under Armour, which ended a 12-year relationship during which he became the face of the company. Curry and Under Armour launched the Curry Brand in 2020, with Curry eventually taking over as president of the brand. He also received significant Under Armour stock as part of a 2023 long-term deal.
Before Under Armour, Curry was with Nike, and he remains one of a select few NBA players with lifetime shoe deals, alongside LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Damian Lillard.
Curry, 38, recently completed his 17th NBA season, averaging 26.6 points and 4.7 assists in 43 games while dealing with a knee injury. Despite the Warriors’ 37-45 record and missing the playoffs, Curry’s new deal secures the long-term future of his brand, positioning him for continued influence in basketball and lifestyle apparel worldwide.
Li-Ning, founded in 1990 by Olympic gymnast Li Ning, has previously signed NBA stars including Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Fred VanVleet, D’Angelo Russell, and CJ McCollum. Curry’s deal signals a major push for the Chinese company to expand its presence globally, leveraging one of basketball’s biggest names.
