Florida authorities have arrested a second suspect in the armed home invasion at rapper 6ix9ine’s Wellington residence, which left his mother held hostage and the property ransacked in November 2025.
Sergio Andrade, 18, was taken into custody on Sunday, February 1, following a warrant issued in January. Andrade joins Pedro Rodriguez, the first suspect arrested in December. Court documents indicate the two suspects shared an apartment and were linked through cell phone tracking and neighbor surveillance.
According to police, three masked intruders ambushed 6ix9ine’s mother as she entered the garage, forcing her into the kitchen at gunpoint and demanding cash and car keys. While 6ix9ine was not home, his brother and other family members were staying in a guest suite. The intruders ransacked the main house and a Mercedes Sprinter van before fleeing.
A SWAT team raided Andrade and Rodriguez’s West Palm Beach apartment on December 19, recovering stolen luxury items valued over $11,000, including a pink Chanel purse, a black Dolce & Gabbana bag, and a Louis Vuitton Pochette. Authorities also seized a stolen Glock 19 with an extended magazine matching the robbery description, along with clothing corresponding to the suspects’ outfits captured on surveillance footage.
During questioning, Andrade initially denied involvement but later admitted being in the neighborhood, claiming he was visiting a friend. Both suspects now face charges including home invasion robbery with a firearm and false imprisonment.
The investigation continues as police search for the third masked suspect. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
At the time of the arrests, 6ix9ine was serving a three-month federal sentence at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center for violating supervised release terms related to his previous prison stint with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. Since his release in 2020, the rapper has had multiple supervised release violations, including recent assault and drug possession incidents.
Authorities remain focused on bringing all involved parties to justice and recovering any remaining stolen property from the incident.
