With Darin Brooks officially back on The Bold and the Beautiful as Wyatt, many fans are celebrating the long-awaited return of one of the show’s most popular characters. Naturally, the next question is who Wyatt might end up with now that he’s back in Los Angeles.
His romance with Flo appears to be firmly in the past, leaving Wyatt without an obvious love interest. But considering his charm, family connections, and history with several key players in town, it’s hard to imagine him remaining single for very long. Whether the writers choose to reconnect him with someone from his past or introduce him into a brand-new romantic storyline, Wyatt’s return could shake up the show’s relationship landscape in a major way.
So who’s it gonna be? Our bet is… Ivy!
One possibility that seems increasingly likely is a reunion between Wyatt and Ivy. At the moment, Ivy remains off-screen while Electra deals with the fallout from recent events, and Ashleigh Brewer is away on maternity leave. But once the character returns, revisiting Wyatt and Ivy’s past romance could be an easy direction for the writers to take.
Brewer herself has hinted that Ivy’s feelings may never have been limited to Liam alone. As she recently suggested, Liam has often remained a tempting presence in Ivy’s life simply because he has kept the door open. That leaves plenty of room for Ivy to reconnect with Wyatt, a man with whom she once shared a genuine relationship. With both characters carrying unresolved history, a Wyatt-Ivy reunion could provide exactly the kind of romantic drama that The Bold and the Beautiful thrives on.
But Ivy isn’t looking for a carrot, dangled or otherwise. “She is looking for the real thing,” Brewer says, adding that “I do fear she has a lot of unresolved relationship issues with the Spencer boys.”

As obvious a pairing as Wyatt and old flame Ivy would be, she isn’t the only option for him. In fact, when Soaps.com recently wrote about the R.J./Dylan matchup that’s coming down the pike, nearly 30 percent of readers voted for Wyatt as a better partner for the young woman.
While Dylan is a bit younger than Wyatt, the age difference hardly seems like an obstacle in a town where much larger age-gap relationships have thrived. Compared to couples like Eric and Donna, Wyatt and Dylan would barely raise an eyebrow.
The bigger question is whether the writers will lean into Wyatt’s history or give him a completely fresh start. A reunion with Ivy has the advantage of built-in chemistry, shared memories, and plenty of unfinished business to explore. Fans already know their story, making it easy to reignite old feelings.
On the other hand, pairing Wyatt with Dylan could inject some much-needed freshness into the canvas. Wyatt’s easygoing personality might be exactly what Dylan needs, especially if she continues finding herself caught up in the chaos created by the show’s latest troublemakers. A new romance could also allow Wyatt to step out of the shadow of his past relationships and establish himself in a storyline that feels entirely his own.
Whether it’s a second chance with Ivy or a brand-new beginning with Dylan, Wyatt’s return has suddenly opened the door to several intriguing possibilities.
