A Florida woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the execution-style killing of a Haitian man who was gunned down in his car after taking out the trash outside his Fort Lauderdale home, authorities said Friday. The suspect, identified as Candace Walker, 33, is being held without bond after a judge ordered her detention following her arrest on August 7, 2026, nearly five weeks after the deadly shooting. Several other vehicles were also struck by gunfire.
