The Pineapple Express actress wore dark bottoms while the rest of her body was uncovered.

Heard’s classy portrait speaks for itself, as the star simply captioned the image by using merely one word: ‘Explanation.’

The actress tagged Tasya van Ree, 41, who is a renowned Los Angeles based artist that shot the mesmerizing black and white portrait.

The 41-year-old artist is also Heard’s ex-girlfriend and dated her from 2008 to 2012.

In 2016, van Ree spoke out in defense of Heard after the Justice League star filed for divorce from Johnny Depp and accused him of domestic violence.

The minimalist artist told E! News in a statement: ‘Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day.’

Their refusal to end their friendship was said to have ‘enraged’ Johnny Depp during the course of their marriage.
