James has played in 16 games so far this season and is averaging 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 55.9% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range.
The Lakers are 10-7 in their first 17 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They are 7-3 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 121-115.
In 36 minutes of playing time, James had 22 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 8/23 from the field and 1/9 from the three-point range.
James is in his sixth season with the Lakers and is coming off a year where he averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest.
Following the 76ers, the Lakers will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.
As for the 76ers, they are 11-5 in their first 16 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 6-4 over their previous ten games and most recently defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 127-123.
