The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Causes Major Family Feud – Forgiving Claire Enrages Victor, Nikki and Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show’s gearing up for more conflict within the Newman clan. Y&R fans know hostility is pretty common when it comes to the Newmans, but they’re usually fighting over executive positions and whether Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) should get another chance.

However, it’s a different Newman family member who’ll be causing the drama this time around. Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is a Newman on Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) side since she’s actually Eve Nicole Howard all grown up.

Of course, Victoria is still in denial about Claire being her own flesh and blood, but it seems likely she’ll get DNA confirmation soon enough.

It’s clear that despite all the chaos, Victoria feels some hint of connection with Claire – at least enough to feel a bit sorry for her.

In the November 29 episode, Victoria found herself wondering how someone so bright could end up in Claire’s situation.

In that same episode, Victoria told Claire that she was sorry for all the lies Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) told her – and Claire eventually apologized too since she’s dealing with an identity crisis that’s brought some serious regrets.

Although Victoria seems to have some sympathy for Claire since she’s been manipulated from birth, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) feels like Claire is a monster!

Likewise, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) argued that Claire was nuts and just as bad as her aunt, so we know exactly where he stands.

The show’s already laying the groundwork for Victoria’s inevitable feud with her family.

We’re seeing the first signs of Victoria inching toward forgiveness since it’s not Claire’s fault that Jordan is deranged and deceptive.

Claire was stolen and raised to trust this woman, but now she’s finally understanding that Jordan has lied all along.

Victoria will ultimately want to show Claire compassion and embrace the chance to get to know her daughter – especially since they lost so much time together.

Unfortunately, Victoria will have a tough fight on her hands when it comes to getting Victor, Nikki and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to accept Claire as part of the Newman family.

Victoria should finally understand Victor’s perspective regarding Adam since he just can’t give up on his son despite his many mistakes.

Since Victoria won’t be able to give up on Claire either, that’s bound to cause some intense family friction and could put Victoria in pariah territory with Adam!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will have to fight for Claire’s place in the Newman clan, so stay tuned for updates on the difficult news ahead.
