He was reported to have earned a whopping £107m at the start of 2023, according to Forbes.
That made him the current world’s highest-paid athlete, sitting above rival Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and basketball icon LeBron James.
However, this number would have increased massively since then, after he doubled his salary by joining Al Nassr in a move which made him the highest-earning player ever.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s contract runs until 2025 and is estimated to be worth £177m-a-year, including £62m for his football salary as well as commercial bonuses.

He owns a £500m villa in Madrid while also having a £15m apartment in New York as part of his portfolio.
