Mahomes has joined UFC star Israel Adesanya, boxer Bud Crawford, and soccer player Erling Haaland as an ambassador for PRIME Hydration.
It represents a huge coup for Paul and KSI, who launched the wildly popular energy drink company in January 2022.
In a statement, Mahomes said: “PRIME is a disruptive brand that has taken over the beverage industry since it first launched.
“They are gamechangers, and that’s exactly what I strive to be on the field.
“Our partnership is a winning play, merging innovation and excellence, setting a new standard both on and off the field.
“It’s an honor to join the PRIME family alongside some of the greatest athletes, leagues, and teams in the world.”
Fans were quick to comment on Mahomes’ big reveal, with Paul and KSI donning PRIME-sponsored NFL jerseys for a photoshoot.
One fan responded on Instagram: “Prime is becoming a monopoly.”
Another said: “Mahomes better bring a 3rd Super Bowl now.”
While a third added: “This is actually unreal.”
And a fourth commented: “This endorsement budget is a bottomless pit.”
Per the Daily Mail, part of the sponsorship deal will see PRIME give $100,000 to the Mahomes Foundation.
Paul, who has swapped YouTube for the boxing ring and WWE in recent years, teased Mahomes involvement in a post on December 10.
He joined KSI on the sideline at a Chiefs game, writing on X: “Scouting for the next PRIME athlete.”
Mahomes is a two-time league MVP and won his second Super Bowl with the Chiefs earlier this year.
The 28-year-old restructured his record-breaking NFL contract in September.
It will see Mahomes earn an eye-watering $210.6 million between 2023 and 2026, the most by any NFL player ever over a four-year period.
