Like mother like son! Jennifer Lopez steps out with son Max in vibrant coloured shoes during an outing in California on Thursday

She teamed the retro inspired number with a chunky gold bracelet, a pale pink designer handbag and a stylish pair of sunglasses.

The mother-of-two wore her highlighted brown hair sleeked into a high bun and added a pop of colour with glossy pink lipstick and lime green nail polish.

Her son looked adorable in a crisp white T-shirt and beige knee-length shorts, which he accessorised with black aviators.

Meanwhile, it was only a week ago when the pop star celebrated her 45th birthday, where she reportedly forked out a massive $100K on a party.

Among those who got to indulge in the fun festivities were Khloe Kardashian and rapper French Montana, who lent his vocals to J-Lo’s recent single, I Luh Ya Papi.

The Get Right hitmaker will next perform September 9 alongside Usher, KISS, Duran Duran, and Rita Ora for Fashion Rocks at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

JLo will also return to American Idol for the 14th season of the singing competition, premiering January on Fox.
