Jurgen Klopp fulfilled the young fan’s dream by inviting him to meet the squad as a 12-year-old Liverpool fan with Crommelin Syndrome saw viral video of him crying during You’ll Never Walk Alone

Jurgen Klopp made a young Irish Liverpool fan’s dreams come true after inviting the 12-year-old to meet the players at the club’s training.

Daire Gorman, was born with Crommelin Syndrome which is thought to have been diagnosed in only a handful of people across the world. The condition means he was born without arms from his elbow down and without the femur bone in both of his legs – and because of this is a full-time wheelchair user.

Footage went viral back in September of the youngster – who describes Liverpool as ‘his life’ – crying during the rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone before their victory against Aston Villa.

The video attracted millions of views, and caught the attention of Liverpool manager Klopp.

New heartwarming footage posted on Christmas Day shows the German inviting Daire and his family to Liverpool’s training facility, where he was able to meet some of the players – including Mohamed Salah and his hero Luis Diaz – and watch them train earlier this month.

Liverpool have released footage of the heartwarming moment that a young fan – born with an extremely rare condition – was invited to the club’s training ground to meet the players

Liverpool made the invite after millions of people watched a viral video of him crying during You’ll Never Walk Alone before a match against Aston Villa at Anfield back in September

In a message to Daire – which left him in tears, Klopp said: ‘I just want to let you know we all saw the video of you at Anfield when you were listening to You’ll Never Walk Alone.

‘The players and I absolutely love your passion for the club so we want to do something for you to say thank you.

‘We are going to invite you and your family to Liverpool to meet the players and watch us train.’

Having returned to Anfield to watch a thrilling 4-3 victory over Fulham on December 3, he and his family went out to Liverpool’s training ground to meet his heroes.

Klopp gave the youngster a tour of Liverpool’s facilities, bumping into the likes of Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz along the way.

Speaking to Daire in person about his viral video he said: ‘What I really love about it, I’m a bit older but it’s similar what you felt in that moment to what I feel in moments.

‘This song means a lot to you and it means a lot to me, I could see your emotions.’

Klopp also went on to describe the youngster as a ‘bit of an old soul’ and the ‘wisest man in the room’ while speaking to him and his family.

‘You cannot imagine how much I enjoyed meeting you. You can’t,’ Klopp told Daire.

‘This club is all about the people and the supporters, and you are one of the most special. I watched the video again this morning and I sat there and thought, ‘Oh my god’. Life without emotions… imagine that.’

Daire finished: ‘It’s been a magical day. Meeting Klopp and meeting Diaz – my hero – I don’t know how to put it into words. Mo [Salah] came by to say hello.

‘I’m just so grateful for it all and I can’t believe I came back to Liverpool again to do all this.’
