According to the latest revelation from Mundo Deportivo, Inter Miami is keeping an eye on Sergi Roberto. The talented Spanish player is the captain of the Barcelona club but has not been used much by coach Xavi recently and is considering leaving to find a new home.
Sergi Roberto’s contract with Barca will expire at the end of this season and both sides have no intention of extending it.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, David Beckham’s team is planning to help Roberto reunite with former teammates Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez in the US.
Recently, Inter Miami announced a new contract named Luis Suarez. Messi’s team announced on its website:
“Inter Miami CF announces it has signed UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and Conmebol Copa America winner and five-time La Liga champion Luis Suarez to a contract that runs until the end of the 2024 Major League Soccer season “.
Suarez just left Gremio Club after the Serie A (Brazil) season ended in mid-December. Here, the 36-year-old striker played a total of 53 matches, scored 26 goals and had 17 assists.
Joining Inter Miami, Suarez will reunite with close friend Messi and two other former teammates from Barcelona Club, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
At Inter Miami, Suarez and Messi promise to create a good attacking duo, to conquer the goal of winning the MLS Cup, Leagues Cup, CONCACAF Champions Cup and US Open Cup.
