After social media erupted over NLE Choppa’s harsh comments aimed at Chrisean Jr., the son of Blueface and Chrisean Rock, the Memphis rapper has now issued a public apology — and Blueface is responding, though not without adding more fuel to the fire.
The controversy began after Blueface proposed a celebrity boxing match between himself and NLE Choppa. Instead of accepting the challenge outright, NLE escalated the situation by dragging their children into the feud during a heated rant online.
In a now-deleted post, the “Shotta Flow” rapper allegedly mocked Chrisean Jr. with offensive remarks that immediately triggered backlash across social media. He then suggested the rappers’ sons should “fight” instead of the artists themselves, turning what started as rap beef into something far more personal.
The comments quickly spread online, with fans criticizing NLE for targeting a child.
Not long after the backlash intensified, NLE took to Instagram Stories to publicly apologize.
“Last time we had words, he apologized for bringing my mom into stuff. I owe you the same respect,” NLE wrote. “I apologize for what I said about your son, Blueface. From the heart.”
Blueface later reacted on X, appearing surprised at how quickly the apology came.
“That n**ga apologized so quick,” he wrote. “I forgive you, lil’ bro, now move around. You know better.”
But while the Los Angeles rapper accepted the apology, he also hinted that the issue still isn’t fully settled. In another post, Blueface suggested he remains interested in facing NLE in the boxing ring despite the apology.
“I still need that though,” he added, implying the fight challenge may still happen.
The exchange is only the latest chapter in a years-long feud between the two rappers. Ironically, NLE Choppa himself once floated the idea of a celebrity boxing match back in 2024 after Blueface referenced him on a remix track involving Jaidyn Alexis.
Since then, the tension between both artists has repeatedly exploded online through diss posts, insults, and public callouts.
Fans remain divided over the latest drama — with some praising NLE for apologizing publicly, while others believe the situation crossed the line the moment children became part of the feud.
For now, the apology may have cooled things down temporarily… but judging by Blueface’s response, this rivalry might be far from over.
