Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are confirmed to be taking over presenting the National Television Awards from Roman Kemp.
The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner Sam, 31, and his best friend former TOWIE star Pete, 36, will be chatting to the celebrities walking the star-studded red carpet during the awards.
Sam and Pete will host the official NTA content for all its social media channels and will give viewers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes on the night.
The Staying Relevant podcast stars, who first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2019, will film the NTA content live from London’s O2 Arena on September 11.
Previously the likes of Roman, BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, Love Island’s Chris and Kem and former Made In Chelsea‘s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo have hosted the carpet.

Sam gushed that he is ‘honoured’ to be taking over the event while Pete said he is ‘thrilled’ to have been asked after ‘fighting’ his way into the awards for years.
The former Made In Chelsea star said: ‘It’s an absolute honour to have been asked to be the official Red Carpet hosts for the NTAs and there’s no one I’d rather do it with than my best friend Pete. I’ll definitely be grabbing Ant & Dec for a chat!’
Pete added: ‘From fighting our way into boxes full of celebs at the NTAs for the past decade, to being the official Red Carpet hosts – things are looking up!
‘But on a serious note we’re thrilled to have been asked and know it’s going to be a great night.’
Sam has been going from strength-to-strength in his career since being crowned King Of The Jungle last month.
Earlier on Monday it was revealed that Sam has officially joined the This Morning team for a brand-new role.
The former reality star has been rumoured to be the ITV‘s show next big star ever since winning I’m A Celebrity.
He is now due to start as a fully-fledged member of the team as a roving reporter in a role that will see him travel to Manchester.

The TV star won over viewers last month when he appeared as a guest on This Morning, seeing him reunite with fellow campmate and pal Josie Gibson.
Sam told The Mirror: ‘I’ve always been a huge fan of This Morning and the energy and joy the show brings but talking to Josie about how much she loves being part of the This Morning family in the jungle made me want to join the team even more.
‘From being a guest on the show in December to now officially being announced as part of team This Morning… it’s a real pinch-me moment.
‘I can’t wait to get started, nothing beats the excitement of live TV!’
