2024 could be the best year in the history of the company – which could see the return of former two-division champion, Conor McGregor.
The Irishman announced that he will face Michael Chandler in his long-awaited return to competition at middleweight. In a video posted on his social media, McGregor revealed that he will take on the former lightweight challenger at the UFC‘s International Fight Week card on June 29.
McGregor has been inactive since suffering a broken tibia in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021 but has since returned to training and has been preparing for a return to the Octagon.
UFC 300 is scheduled to take place later this year and could go down as one of the biggest cards in the history of the sport. UFC 299 will take place a month before 300 – and many mouthwatering fights have already been confirmed for the card.
