GH is really making a lot of noise these days with the latest twist involving Spencer and Nik. General Hospital spoilers confirm that Nik has indeed bolted away with his son Ace. While Spencer literally just handed the little guy over to their dad. Now, in no realm is that going to go down okay with Esme. In every likeliness a huge storm is about to blow into Port Charles, and it might start with Spencer’s arrest. But what about Nik?

Honestly speaking, this made absolutely zero sense on GH. Spencer does not trust Nik at all. It was so out of character for him to give Ace away to Nik, just like that, to run away. General Hospital spoilers explain that Spencer doubts that Esme may have regained her memory. And that’s why he let Nik take the baby away. But in what world is it okay to snatch away a little baby from a mother who has truly been a wonderful mom to him so far and hand it over to a man you know from experience has failed as a father?

GH/ Spencer hands Ace over to Nik

There is only one way the story can move from here. General Hospital spoilers say that Esme is going to freak out when she realizes that her baby is missing. As any mother would. And considering that Spencer was supposed to be looking after Ace, the onus will fall upon him to explain what really happened.

Moving forward, if Esme files a complaint about her baby missing, there is going to be an investigation. And it will very well start with Spencer. If he admits that he let Nik take Ace away, he will be booked for aiding and abetting the kidnap. General Hospital spoilers have stated earlier that actor Nicholas Chavez may fall off the screen for a while as he has to be on a break to film a Netflix series. So, a prison stint will be a perfect way of keeping him away from the screen.

As for Nik, he is on the run now with baby Ace on GH. But how far and for how long can he really get away? Well, considering the Cassadine resources, he very well might vanish into thin air, as he has many times before. But General Hospital Spoilers say nothing about Adam Huss leaving the soap or Nik being written off. So, at some point, he will have to return to PC. Either willingly or in cuffs. Both ways, he will have to face the consequences of the stunt he just pulled and also incriminated Spencer with him.
