Bellingham shines to help Real Madrid go upstream: Brilliant age of 20

Real Madrid just had an extremely difficult match against bottom team Almeria in round 21 of La Liga. The Bernabeu home team let their opponents lead by 2 goals after the first 45 minutes. Coach Ancelotti had to make emergency adjustments after the break and in the end “White Vulture” won 3-2.

Jude Bellingham shined again to help Real Madrid win the match

The brightest star in this match is definitely Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder had one goal and one assist to help Real Madrid win the match. Bellingham could do almost nothing in the first half as he was closely marked by the opposing defender. It wasn’t until Joselu entered the field that the English midfielder truly developed his abilities.

Bellingham’s first mark was the 1-2 equalizer on the penalty spot. That goal had extremely important meaning for Real Madrid players. The pressure was enormous, but the English player still coolly scored the goal. It’s hard to imagine that calmness coming from a player who just turned 20 years old.

Immediately afterwards, Bellingham indirectly helped Real Madrid escape a defeat. Almeria had a great counterattack, but the referee did not recognize the away team’s goal because he determined that Lopy fouled Bellingham in the middle of the field earlier.

Bellingham almost completed a double with a superb curling strike from outside the penalty area. Unfortunately, this goal was not recognized because the passer, Garcia, was offside earlier.

The English midfielder continued to show his importance to Real Madrid with an assist in the 90+9 minute. Diaz’s hanging ball was not really favorable for Bellingham to finish. The former Dortmund player turned to head the ball into the far post.

It was a beautiful pass for Carvajal to score and score 3-2 for Real Madrid. Once again, Bellingham showed amazing composure. There wasn’t much time left in the match and he had a chance to finish, but the English midfielder did not play individually and that was the absolutely correct choice.

It’s a bit unfortunate for Real Madrid that they won’t be able to have the services of Bellingham in the next round. The English midfielder received a yellow card at the end of the match for a behavioral violation and was suspended for 1 match because he had received 5 yellow cards since the beginning of the tournament.

With this performance, Bellingham received the “Best Player of the Match” award. This is the 12th time this season the English midfielder has received this honor. Since moving to Real Madrid, Bellingham has had 18 goals and 8 assists in just 25 matches.
