As the Lakers square off with the young, talented, Portland Trail Blazers, they’re a bit banged up with the absences of Taurean Prince and Gabe Vincent.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who’ve seemingly been battling minor injuries non-stop this season and were declared questionable ahead of tonight’s game, have since been declared active.
James (ankle) has been battling tendinopathy for the past few weeks but has managed to gut it out game after game. He has appeared close to or at full health while out there, so there’s little to be worried about.
Davis (Achilles), similar to James, has been banged up for quite a while but has managed to continue playing. He’s had the most durable season of his career and will look to continue producing at a near-MVP level.
The Blazers are a bad team, sitting at 14-29. It’s safe to expect a comfortable L.A. win, and in doing so, perhaps James and Davis can get some rest towards the end of the game as they recovery from their injuries.
