Chelsea are expected to make their move to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise this summer.
That is according to today’s transfer speculation.
TEAMalk claims on Saturday that Chelsea remain interested in signing Michael Olise, who spent time in the Blues academy between the age of seven to 14.
It is explained that the Blues could pursue a deal for the 22-year-old Palace attacker at the end of the season.
However, the obvious problem is the presence of Manchester United.
The report shares that Erik ten Hag’s Man United side are keeping a very close eye on Olise ahead of a summer bid.
Most importantly, Olise would favour a move to Old Trafford to play for Man United.

Olise, who’s scored five goals in nine Premier League games during an injury-hit season, clearly has star individual ability.
We think the skilful left-footed winger has the potential to play for any of the big teams in Europe, so it’s understandable he’s on Chelsea’s list. Our concern is that the Blues much rather need an out-and-out goalscoring striker than another wide man.
Described as “very gifted” by Gary Lineker on X, Olise will surely get a big-money in the near future.
TEAMtalk’s report also mentions there’s a release clause in Olise’s deal at Selhurst Pak that will become active in the summer, but it’s unclear on what the fee will be. It’ll certainly be more than £35 million.
Michael Olise would prefer Manchester United move
Chelsea may already face an uphill battle to sign Olise because of the Man United factor, but let’s wait and see what happens.
Journalist Simon Phillips claimed via Substack back in November that Chelsea plan to make a fresh move to try sign Olise at the end of the season.
His poor luck with injuries should be an immediate red flag for interested buyers. There’s no doubting the quality and talent when the Frenchman is fit, though.
