Conceding in the 90+3 minute, Real Madrid lost victory against Atletico in a dramatic derby

Real Madrid faced Atletico Madrid in round 23 of La Liga this morning (February 5). The home team at the Bernabeu entered the game enthusiastically from the beginning while coach Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid appeared cautious. However, it was Atletico Madrid that created the dangerous opportunity in the 9th minute. Morata escaped after Griezmann’s through ball, causing Real Madrid goalkeeper Lunin to fall to save.

In the 48th minute, Savic jumped high and headed the ball into Real Madrid’s net after a corner kick. However, after consulting VAR, the referee refused to recognize the goal because Saul stopped goalkeeper Lunin.

It wasn’t until the 90+3 minute that coach Diego Simeone’s team leveled the score. Real Madrid continues to face high ball situations from the away team. Marcos Llorente ran in and headed the ball into Real Madrid’s net, helping Atletico Madrid draw 1-1 at the Bernabeu.

With this result, Real Madrid tops the rankings with 58 points after 23 matches. Meanwhile, Girona ranked 2nd with 56 points. Atletico Madrid ranked 4th with 48 points.
