Amber Heard accused of COPYING Johnny Depp’s courtroom outfits: see similarities between ensembles

Amber Heard has been accused of copying Johnny Depp‘s courtroom outfits, with social media users pointing out multiple similarities between their ensembles – and even their hairstyles – as the actor’s $100 million defamation trial against his ex-wife continues.

Exes Heard, 35, and Depp, 58 – who were married from 2015 to 2016 – have been battling it out in court in recent weeks, and each day of the trial has brought a slew of shocking new allegations.

The trial, which is still underway in Virginia, is attempting to determine if a 2018 Washington Post essay written by Heard, in which she accused the actor of domestic abuse, defamed Depp.

Depp has continuously denied her allegations against him, and is seeking at least $50 million in compensatory damages and a punitive award of at least $350,000, along with attorneys’ fees and court costs.

Every aspect of the trial has been heavily covered by the media and compulsively analyzed by thousands of fans around the world – including what the two stars have worn each day.

Some people are convinced that Heard is purposely picking outfits that look similar to ones that Depp has previously worn during the trial, in an attempt to ‘play mind games’ on him.

On the first day of the trial – on April 11 – Depp was seen wearing a Gucci tie, which had a bumblebee on it (left). And two days later – on April 13 – Heard sported a very similar tie, which also had a bee pin on it (right)

People have also pointed out that Depp donned a gray suit for the first day of the trial on April 11 (left), and Heard was then seen wearing a pants and shirt combo of the same color to the courthouse on April 12 (right)

Then, on April 18, Depp showed up to court with his long hair pulled back into a ponytail (left). The next day, on April 19, Heard had her long locks styled in a similar way (right) – and many people thought it was not a coincidence

Tons of viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Depp and Heard’s alike looks, with one calling her ‘sick in the head’ for ‘mimicking’ his clothes.

They wrote: ‘Is anyone gonna address why Amber is mimicking Johnny’s outfits every day? This woman is sick in the head.’

‘Amber Heard is playing mind games with Johnny Depp by copying his outfits in court,’ added another person.

‘The fact that Amber Heard is copying Johnny [Depp’s] court outfits is something else… Nobody would ever copy their abusers outfits,’ said someone else.

Several people have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Depp and Heard’s similar looks, with one calling her ‘sick in the head’ for ‘mimicking’ his clothes

‘Amber Heard is very scary and manipulative! I realized that she is dressing and mimicking the same outfits Johnny is wearing everyday during this trial,’ read a fourth tweet.

A different user tweeted, ‘Amber Heard actively copying Johnny’s outfits every day at court is freaking me the Hell out, like, b***h, you are crazy, what the Hell?’

‘Amber Heard is unhinged,’ agreed someone else. ‘We knew that, but shorty wearing the same outfits as Johnny Depp in court is next level.’

Another person said they thought she was trying to ‘ensure she’s still messing with her victim’ by copying his outfits, and called it ‘disgusting;’ while a different Twitter user claimed it ‘screamed psychological abuse.’

‘The man is literally in court and she’s still mocking him,’ they added.

‘Amber Heard mirroring all of Johnny Depp’s outfits is a continued attempt to torment her victim,’ wrote another person. ‘Didn’t think she could be more vile.’

Others took to TikTok to discuss Heard and Depp’s similar outfits, with some videos showing off their looks racking up millions of views.

Some people were especially outraged by Heard’s choice of clothing since Depp’s sister Christi Dembrowski testified in court last week that she once overheard the Aquaman alum slamming Depp’s sense of style.

‘Johnny told Amber that I had just had a meeting with Dior and they were interested in him,’ Dembrowski stated.

‘Her reaction to that was she was in disbelief and sort of disgust because she said, “Dior – why would Dior want to do business with you? They are about class and they are about style and you don’t have style.”

Depp (left on April 12) has repeatedly denied Amber’s (right on April 13) allegations against him, and is seeking at least $50 million in compensatory damages and a punitive award of at least $350,000, as well as attorneys’ fees and court costs

‘It was insulting. Taking away that one moment, that insult is there.’

Nearly seven years after Depp and Heard tied the knot, the Pirates of the Caribbean star stated in court that Heard was the one who became violent when their relationship soured.

Depp claimed that the couple had frequent arguments that included ‘demeaning name calling’ and ‘bullying’ by her, when he took the stand on Wednesday.

‘It seemed like pure hatred for me,’ he told the jury. ‘If I stayed to argue, eventually, I was sure it was going to escalate into violence, and oftentimes it did.’

When asked to describe the violence, Depp said Heard would ‘strike out.’

‘It could begin with a slap. It could begin with a shove. It could begin with throwing a TV remote at my head. It could be throwing a glass of wine in my face,’ he added.

‘She has a need for conflict. She has a need for violence. It erupts out of nowhere.’

Depp said he would remove himself from the situation, sometimes locking himself in the bathroom, and insisted that he never struck Heard.

He said: In all of these situations, my main goal was to retreat.’

In the 2018 article in question, Heard wrote about being a survivor of domestic abuse but never mentioned Depp by name.

But Depp’s lawyer Benjamin Chew said it was clear Heard was referencing the Hollywood leading man.

Depp was accused of slapping the American actress three times in 2013, after she laughed at his infamous ‘Wino Forever’ tattoo, and attacking her in a cocaine and alcohol-fueled tirade over accusations that she cheated on him with ‘rapist’ James Franco.

Depp has continuously denied her allegations against him, and is seeking at least $50 million in compensatory damages and a punitive award of at least $350,000, along with attorneys’ fees and court costs. He is pictured in court on April 12
