Heather May Be Off The Hook When Britt Returns To Shake Things Up

General Hospital spoilers report the late Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may be headed back to Port Charles soon, and it could go a long way in clearing the conviction against Heather Webber (Alley Mills) — who is about to have a heaping dose of help on her side.

When Heather was brought to General Hospital suffering from abdominal and hip pain, she never imagined she would find out she had been suffering from cobalt poisoning for years following hip replacement surgery.

Learning that it could have contributed to her declining mental health and taste for vicious crimes in recent years, Heather is eager to learn how she can manipulate this situation to her advantage.

When Britt turns up alive and willing to testify as both a victim of “The Hook Killer” and a doctor, she just might pave the way for Heather’s new lease on life.

General Hospital Spoilers — Britt Westbourne Didn’t Die

The hardest part of this story to believe is that Britt is somehow alive after having been diagnosed with symptomatic Huntington’s Disease and being nicked by a poison-laced hook. Letting the poison take effect was Britt’s compromise.

She wanted to go out on her own terms, and without her family watching her waste away into nothing. But it’s certainly possible that Britt somehow managed to fake her death, even while wrapped in the arms of her mother — a doctor. Certainly, that’s the hardest part of this story to believe.

GH Spoilers – Spill She Wasn’t the Only Victim

Britt was far from Heather’s only victim, but as Heather comes out of surgery and begins to detox from constant cobalt poisoning, she just might find that she’s a totally different person. That being said, she’ll likely still be the familiar Heather she always was before she really went off the rails.

But Heather’s release might kick up dust for other people who are still grieving. Among Heather’s victims, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is certainly not going to come to her defense. Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was attacked by The Hook but managed to escape being stabbed.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) won’t be so forgiving either. Many of Port Charles’ citizens are still grieving the loss of Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), too — especially Sasha Gimore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). They won’t take kindly to Britt giving Heather a pass.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Hook Could Go Free

If Heather’s reign of terror at The Hook Killer is blamed on her unstable state of mind due to cobalt poisoning, she could be cleared of all charges on the basis of temporary insanity.

Nevermind that she was always a bit insane to begin with, Heather would be given a new lease on life despite others having lost theirs.

If Britt advocates for that, she’s sure to make some enemies upon her re-emergence in town. Will Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) still be in her corner though? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
