There’s no denying Emma Stone does platinum blonde (and casual chic) well. Now that the former brunette has swapped her dark locks for a bright blonde summer bob, she has been embracing her new look with her low-key, but cool street style as she’s stepped out on the streets of New York City.

This go-round, the Aloha star enjoyed the Big Apple weather Thursday in an Atea Oceanie matelot tee in black and white pinstripe jersey. With her sleeves rolled, she paired the look with cropped denim COS culottes, leopard print flats and a tan crossbody bag. Looking effortlessly chic as she made her way, Stone shielded her eyes from the sun with a pair of black sunnies as her choppy locks blew in the wind.

Stone seems to have a thing for her flats–that include a convenient ankle strap. The 27-year-old actress was spotted wearing the kicks with ripped denim jeans and a black long-sleeved top when she first debuted her new ‘do last month. When you’re running around the streets of N.Y.C., it doesn’t hurt to do it in a pair of shoes you love … especially ones that make a statement.
