General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) moving up their wedding substantially, but what about her dress?

They’re concerned that his father Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) may not make it if they wait, and even asked Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to help save their wedding.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lois Cerullo Talked Tracy Quartermaine Into Saying Yes To The Dress!

It was Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) Brook Lynn’s mother, who talked Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) into saying yes to the dress, meaning Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) wedding dress.

Lois wore that same dress when she and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) got married, and after some argument finally talked Tracy into letting Brook Lynn wear it.

There will have to be a lot of alterations, and Brook Lynn worried how they could get them done on such short notice-being willing to settle for a different dress.

When Lois finds out about the wedding being moved up and possibly just being a very small wedding because of Gregory’s advancing ALS, she still wants to keep the dress tradition.

Brook Lynn shouldn’t have to settle for a different dress too, on top of everything else they’re having to make changes to, and she sets out to find a solution!

GH Spoilers – Can She Find A Seamstress On Very Short Notice?

This is Port Charles, not Bensonhurst, so Lois wonders if she can find a talented seamstress on very short notice who can alter Lila’s dress for Brook Lynn.

There’s a major catch-when it was altered for Lois, it was done in such a manner that it could be undone as to re-alter it back to Lila’s size. In other words, they need a major reversible alteration, does anyone even do that, is the big question.

Lois considers that weight fluctuates, and perhaps there is such a thing with people changing their sizes back and forth sometimes; it’s a big undertaking.

Plus, with this old of a dress, if it has to be made bigger in certain places, can they find matching fabric if there’s not enough to let out?

General Hospital Spoilers – Hallelujah-Lois Cerullo Gets A Miracle And Saves The Day!

After getting Tracy involved, which wasn’t as much of a problem as she feared, she’s been able to find a seamstress who specializes in restoration as well as alteration.

Fittings are scheduled, fabric is ordered from a specialty house in case it’s needed and Brook Lynn is thrilled that she can wear Lila’s dress after all.

It’s still not going to be the big bash that Lois wanted to put together, but at least the wedding dress tradition is kept.

It couldn’t have turned out much better than that, and Tracy, Lois and Brook Lynn proceed with the rest of the wedding planning. They might even get Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) to come!
