Unforgettable Nightmares: Prepare to be Horrified by the 9 Most Disturbing Character Fates in ‘The Boys’ Universe That Will Shake You to the Core!

The Boys contains numerous horrific and grotesque death sequences throughout the show, but a couple are particularly disturbing.

The Boys has never shied away from gruesome and grandiose character deaths, although some are considerably worse than others. Eric Kripke created the sitcom The Boys, which is based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book series. Both the comic and the television series are unapologetic depictions of people with superpowers exploiting and manipulating them for profit and pleasure while pretending to be heroes.

Similarly, the show follows the same logic to the violence and overall events in the series, taking everything to the nth degree. With certain people possessing superhuman abilities and the great majority of the population remaining non-powered humans, there are times when conflict arises, resulting in horrible gory deaths. From skulls exploding to truly getting annihilated by a high-speed hero, The Boys’ universe contains a plethora of frightening character outcomes.

9 Stormfront

The first entry on the list goes to one of the antagonists who cropped up in season 2. Stormfront was a powerful supe with abilities that range from super strength to controlling lightning. However, while she presented herself as a caring, down-to-earth hero of the people, she was eventually revealed to be a Nazi with an extended life that had direct ties to the party during WWII. Stormfront had fooled people into loving her, but when her true nature was exposed, the world turned their backs on her.

8 Marie Moreau’s Parents

In The Boys spin-off, Gen V, Marie Moreau is revealed to be an incredibly powerful young hero. However, when she first learned about her powers, it resulted in a horrific incident which killed both of her parents. As revealed in The Boys, powered people are given their abilities by special chemicals from the Vought corporation, a fact which Marie was not privy to when she accidentally killed her parents, and blamed herself as a young girl.

7 Robin Ward (Hughie’s Girlfriend)

The very first episode of The Boys established the tone of the show when it revealed the horrifying reality of living in a world where superheroes operate with minimal supervision. Despite their exceptional abilities, supes are not held to account for broken laws, and most incidents they cause are buried in order to maintain their image as heroic. One such incident happened to Hughie Campbell in the premiere episode when he had a chance encounter with A-Train.

6 Translucent

Translucent is another member of The Seven, and like many of his peers, he is a gross, slimy hero that uses his powers to stalk and creep on women who are unaware of his presence. In the first season, Billy Butcher and his boys capture the perverted hero and lock him in an electrified cage. In addition, as an extra measure of security, they insert a bomb designed by Frenchie into his rear end.

5 Peter

Peter was a very minor character in The Boys, but due to his graphic death, he left a lasting impression. While attending a party where a few supes were also in attendance, Peter gets into a situation where he hopes to hook up with the shrinking hero, Termite. Peter and Termite hit it off and go into a private room to have 𝑠e𝑥 together, and both appear to be enjoying themselves initially.

4 Aleksy Lutz

Aleksy Lutz was a landlord who had a former adult film star supe residing in one of his apartments in New York. Popclaw, as the supe was known, was spending money on drugs, and had failed to get any significant work for some time, so she was very low on cash. In addition, Popclaw was feeling particularly low and vulnerable due to a recent fight with her boyfriend, A-Train.

3 Blue Hawk

While A-Train and his associates are responsible for several horrific acts of violence and cruelty, A-Train eventually comes to understand just a small part of the injustice and cruelty that exists for normal people. Particularly for his own family and the Black community around which he grew up before his powers were activated. Unfortunately, some supes are also racist and power-hungry, wielding their superpowers over those they view as less than.

One supe, Blue Hawk, is particularly violent and discriminatory against Black people, and he chooses to patrol areas with a higher Black population more than others. A-Train requests that Blue Hawk make a public apology to his community, and Blue Hawk concedes. However, Blue Hawk becomes hostile and lashes out at the crowd, causing some individuals permanent injuries. When A-Train meets Blue Hawk next, he decides to take out the full extent of his rage, and runs at full speed while dragging his body behind him, grating him down against the road until he is dead.

2 Supersonic

In season 3 of The Boys, Supersonic competes and wins a spot on The Seven to replace some of the members who have been killed or forcibly retired. Supersonic had a pre-existing relationship with Starlight, as both had attended similar events as they were coming up in the superhero circuit. However, with Supersonic being a close personal friend, and someone who reflected the same morals as Starlight, he presented a threat to heroes like Homelander, who wielded their power and fame for personal gain.

When Supersonic commited to help Starlight set The Seven to rights and improve their conduct, weeding out corrupt heroes like Homelander, word got back to Homelander about the impending betrayal. In a fit of rage, Homelander brutally beat and mutilated Supersonic until he was unrecognizable, aside from his uniform. Homelander then flew Starlight up to see the corpse as a means of warning her to stay in line, or else he would do the same to her boyfriend, Hughie.

1 Timothy The Octopus

Throughout The Boys, one of the members of The Seven who has the ability to communicate with sea creatures, often displays an unhealthy interest in aquatic animals. He forms a romantic relationship with an octopus, whom he refers to as Timothy, and the pair begin to have a 𝑠e𝑥ual relationship with one another. However, as disturbing as that image is, the pair both seem to consent and engage willingly before the horrific fate for the Octopus occurs.

Homelander, the leader of The Seven, is disgusted by 𝑠e𝑥ual depravity, and chooses to teach his teammate a lesson. He invites The Deep around for a special meal which he has carefully curated for his guests. As The Deep is the guest of honor, Homelander offers him a special meal of live octopus. The octopus is his lover, Timothy, and The Deep is forced to consume his friend as he listens and understands the suffering creatures’ pleas to live, resulting in potentially the most disturbing death in The Boys.
