‘Pillowtalk’ singer joins the ranks of label’s star-studded clientele
With his fourth studio album out, Zayn Malik is riding a fresh wave of joy and attention. As all eyes turn to the voice and soul behind Room Under the Stairs, it seems that the artist is ready to receive applause in style. Screenshots of an Instagram Story by a fan are making rounds on the internet for spotlighting Zayn’s fashion statement.
As per the IG Story, Zayn can be seen wearing Rastah’s archive blockprint hoodie. A prominent Pakistani clothing label, the hoodie carries Rastah’s signature fusion of contemporary streetwear and traditional South Asian aesthetics. The design incorporates patches of vibrant, culturally rich imagery on a black base, emblematic of the brand’s ethos of blending heritage with modern fashion.
Adorned with various embroidered patches, the collage depicts different motifs such as animals, birds and mythical creatures. These elements evoke a sense of storytelling and cultural significance, reflecting the rich scene of Pakistani folklore and art. The black fabric serving as the hoodie’s base is speckled with red florals, ensuring the motifs stand out vividly.
Since it was established in 2018, Rastah has steadily become a symbol of cultural fusion and style evolution. From Bollywood’s iconic figures to global music sensations and superheroes, the Pakistani streetwear label continues to captivate the hearts and wardrobes of celebrities worldwide.
Earlier, Wonka star Timothée Chalamet joined the label’s growing admirers. Spotted in Los Angeles, the 28-year-old actor was seen sporting a brown sweatshirt from Rastah, paired up with matching pants and shoes, and a simple gold chain around his neck.
Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor has also expressed his liking for the Pakistani brand, sporting a ‘Hand-woven Dot Jacket’ at the Animal premiere in Mumbai. According to the fashion brand’s website, the jacket symbolises the “concepts of surveillance and personal autonomy in the digital age.” Climbing the pink bandwagon, Justin Bieber made waves in the fashion world by donning a Rastah pink button-up shirt with intricate hand-embroidered white flowers from Volume 10 collection.
