Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell , 24, choked back tears as a jury unanimously cleared her before convicting her boyfriend Scott Jeff, 24, of the murder of two-year-old Isabella Wheildon after deliberating for just over seven hours. A six week trial at Ipswich Crown Court heard how Isabella had been subjected to ‘a regime of escalating brutality’ before she died in a homeless families unit.
