Human remains discovered at a former Texas residence have now been officially identified as 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, a child who had not been seen in more than three years, bringing a devastating turning point in a case that has haunted investigators and the community since 2022. The confirmation was announced by authorities in Tarrant County following forensic and dental record analysis.
Noel, who reportedly had developmental and physical disabilities, was last seen in October 2022. Investigators say he appeared visibly “malnourished” and “unhealthy” during his final confirmed sightings, including around the time his mother gave birth to twins. Concern over his disappearance only escalated months later when relatives began raising alarms about his safety and that of his siblings.
Authorities allege disturbing conditions inside the household prior to his disappearance. According to prior law enforcement statements, Noel’s mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, allegedly described the child as “possessed” and claimed he had a “demon” inside him that could harm other children in the home. Family members also described a pattern of abuse and neglect concerns leading up to the case.
Officials say no report of his disappearance was filed until March 2023, despite earlier warning signs, triggering a broader investigation into the family’s circumstances.
