Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Zende grows frustrated with his role as a designer, and Brooke is hopeful Ridge will make the right decision.
Ridge Lets Brooke Down at Home
Ridge admits to Brooke that he doesn’t want to let his daughter down. She knows and reminds him Steffy will always be there, but she wants the recognition she deserves. That means he needs to make her Co-CEO.
He explains he talked to Steffy, but she wants things to stay the same. His wife assumes he disagreed.
They debate how Steffy uses her power and who deserves to be the boss. She complains that Hope is being disrespected.
Ridge says he loves her, but he can’t take Steffy’s job from her. She’s been doing a great job and demoting her would be wrong.
Brooke is shocked. She wants her status protected.
He doesn’t know what she needs protection from. She demands something more tangible than being an image people swipe by.
Katie owns her own destiny now. Brooke feels like she deserves that too and demands a title.
He says the title means everything to Steffy and he can’t take that away from her.
She’s disappointed. He tells her he can have whatever she wants, but not this.
Liam and Hope Talk About the Untenable Situation at Logan
Liam and Hope talk about how ridiculous it is that Steffy holds her fate and her mom’s in her hands. If Brooke becomes Co-CEO, Steffy won’t have so much power, and HFTF could have a chance.
She needs this, and her future depends on it. The situation at Forrester is untenable otherwise.
Her husband asks her to promise to come to Logan if the situation doesn’t change. He compares her to a lighthouse and tells her she can get all she wants.
They debate it and he wonders if they could bring Zende on board, too.
Hope only wants to focus on “manifesting” that she and her mom get what they want at Forrester.
Liam thinks it would be great if she didn’t have to ask for respect. All of her ideas could be greenlit.
His wife is determined to believe that everything will fall into place at Forrester.
Zende Vents to Carter in the Forrester Office
Carter is hit by a ball of paper as he walks in. Zende threw it. He’s feeling frustrated.
“Hope and Hope for the Future are being marginalized!” Zende huffs. He rails about how he has been assigned to review RJ’s designs.
The whole collection de designed for HFTF will not see the light of day just because “golden boy” is back and Steffy hate Hope.
That means he’s getting screwed. He’s worked too hard to be a footnote to Ridge Jr.
Electra and Dylan Discuss Remy in the Design Office
Electra tells Dylan she’s always wanted her to succeed. Dylan tells her how much she needs this job.
Electra won’t stand in the way of her working there, but she has to focus on work, not her love life, and can’t cross the line with Will.
That all sounds fine to Dylan. She just wants to make amends.
Electra knows how traumatized she was by being vehicularly homeless.
Dylan knows that Electra was traumatized by her aunt too.
They agree not to talk about this again so they talk about the deep fakes again.
Dylan flashes back to her cousin Remy visiting her.
Electra talks about how terrified she was the deep fakes would destroy her life. Dylan is sure the trauma made her stronger.
Electra complains that being betrayed by a friend made her unable to trust herself. She wants to move on and suggests they be friends again.
Sobbing Dylan is so happy and hugs her.
She feels so lucky and excited…until she sees Remy in thr doorway.

“There’s a new sheriff in town! Leave that dusty old fashion house behind!” Bill declares.
“Tell me he agreed to make you Co-CEO?” Hope prompts Brooke.
“I’m not some threat, Dylan!” Remy insists.
“Promise me that you will stay away from all of us,” she demands.
